They do work. One thing when people claim to their relatives or friends and it is completely different when this or that problem is made public. There is this great site www.pissedconsumer.com. There you may find hundreds or maybe even thousands of consumer reports about almost every company.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6787649.post-39304363577764727032008-07-31T04:32:00.000-04:002008-07-31T04:32:00.000-04:00Hello, I like your blog very much. You never know when and what company is going to offend you and you have to know what to do in case you have some misunderstandings with a retailer or any other company. It is also very useful to read Consumer Reports to get to know other people’s experience in this or that situation.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6787649.post-1137236709681255362006-01-14T06:05:00.000-05:002006-01-14T06:05:00.000-05:00I don't see much evidence of a "great selection," ...I don't see much evidence of a "great selection," and entries for TV shows are confusing. Arrested Development season 1 is shown as three separate rentals, but season 2 (also a 3-disc set) is only one?Mandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01126643593643327183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6787649.post-1137201947936810462006-01-13T20:25:00.000-05:002006-01-13T20:25:00.000-05:00I took a glimpse at the news story but it doesn't ...I took a glimpse at the news story but it doesn't sound like Consumer Reports at all. Usually, they use a specific format when reviewing products. It's a name I trust and I've used their guide for major purchases including my wife's Chrysler Concorde. I couldn't find any mention of the story on their website. Maybe it's in their latest issue. Becky, thanks for posting. When I get my hands on the issue I plan on posting an editorial on my web site. I'm also going to request permission to reprint their review on my web site.

FYI: Consumer Reports is a non-profit organization.
