Still a Netflix fan

I'm still a huge Netflix Fan, but I'm slowing down. I saw only 202 movies in 2010, compared to 473 in 2006. I rented 52 of those on DVD from Netflix, and watched 40 instantly. I saw 67 movies in a theater. I'm still waiting to see the last seven movies of the 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die, 2002 edition. I've been without cable TV for seven years.

Only 202 movies in 2010? That is still a lot.

I wish I could get my husband to make that jump to cutting the cable. At one point he got really close but then he started looking at deals on satellite TV. He can't give up the ease of random channel surfing!

NO! NO! If you want to see the live news then how could you. You just keep in mind this information Dani.

Live news huh? You mean 20 minutes of car dealership commercials, and ten minutes of yesterday's "news" per 1/2 hour?

Yeah, that's worth keeping your TV over.

I was a Netflix fan till I found out about the Blockbuster Movie Pass. Netflix doesn’t offer games like Blockbuster does. I think it’s great how I get access to unlimited games, movies, and TV shows. There are unlimited in-store returns, with no late fees or due dates. I get to enjoy the most out of what I rent. You also get to stream to TV or a PC. This works out great while you wait for DVD’s by mail you get to still enjoy movies. This also provides Blu-ray in the same package. Getting access to the newest movies 28 days before Netflix is awesome. You don’t have to wait till everyone else has seen them. I signed up for mine at DISH Network where I work. New customers that sign up get this incredible deal free for 12 months and an additional 20 plus, channels added to the programming line up.

I love Netflix and I have since it started. But I also think that Netflix really needs to take a look at their buisness model/compitition. Now that there will be other companies trying to make the next best thing, netflix will be forced to give us more than our shitty selection of streamed movies(I'm not saying they are all bad,but i need a better selection).

I also have a question to anyone who the new xbox 360 update i cant seem to turn off the scolling sound in netflix...anyone know how to turn that off?
