Snow Day, and no Netflix

I'm bummed. We are having a rare snow day in North Carolina, and the office is closed, but I have run out of Netflix DVDs to watch. Worse yet, my Apple Airport Express died, so I can't watch instantly on my TV. OK, so I should be grateful I can watch instantly on my Mac, but it's awkward, since my desktop is not a comfortable place to watch a movie.

Should I risk my neck to venture out into the cold, to find a video store or movie theatre where poor, minimum-wage-slaves have risked their necks to get to work?

Or should I read a book?

  1. I'm at work here in High Point... it's really not that bad. Just go slow.

Hey, I resent that... I might be one of those "slaves" if business doesn't pick up very very soon :'(

We basically got nothing in Denver, NC... I was hoping for some snow here actually because I have the week off. I got to watch a terrible DVD I bought the other day from a rental store closing sale (I felt kind of bad for the woman working there. I did want her "Monkey Trouble" clock though... I should have asked).

Well, the mail should be here within the next hour, so finally Netflix will deliver something new. It's cool that Netflix delivered anyway on a day that so many take off.

  3. I was saved by the USPS. The mail came, and I got a movie from Netflix. :)
