It will be interesting to see if Netflix begins aggregating content similar to this with it's VOD initiative. There is a large amount of non-Hollywood content emerging. This is, of course, what Reed refers to with his '5 Million channels' comments.
I look at iFilm and see a lot of content burdened by excessive, distracting advertising. Perhaps Netflix could provide a tech-savvy, advertising light version for subscribers to increase retention rates.
Streaming mainstream Hollywood content to the television may still be premature. Playing around the edges like Yahoo and others seems appropriate.
