Years ago I had the domain VanguardInvestor.com and Vanguard Funds (Vanguard Group, Inc.) came after me. I might have had a good chance of keeping it if I'd had some content up at the site other than "this domain for sale..."; provided the content stayed well away from any confusion with the mutual fund company. But it wasn't worth the expense of trying to stand my ground beyond the initial exchanges with one of the corp. lawyers there. They were insisting I just sign the domain over to them, and refused to reimburse even the amount I paid plus the price of a notary public stamp, so I relinquished it and told them they could go register it if they so desired.
