Houston-area McDonalds restaurants are now offering DVD rentals at each of its locations through these high-tech vending machines. For $1 a night, you can visit your nearest Ronnie Mac's Steak House to rent one of several new releases through the Redbox automated service and simply return it to any vending machine when you're finished with it. This new service has been quite a "blockbuster" success.
Dave Taylor has a review of the Redbox rental experience, found via Hacking Netflix
I use both services too. I use netflix for the variety and ease of use. I use redbox when you want to watch something today. Sometimes the redbox machine is down and the selection is limited. The only other real problem with redbox is that sometimes the stores close before the due back time. You might have to return it to a location other than where you picked the movie up or get charged for another day.
ReplyDeleteI love redbox alot more than netflix or that ripoff blockbuster. I have always found what I needed and only had a problem once so far at getting to the machine.
