Netflix vs. Blockbuster

Blogger Mike Greiner writes a good review of Netflix vs. Blockbuster, from January 2005.

Guess who wins?

  1. Phrases like, "Pulling for the 'little' guy" and "The Netflix shipping process is rock-solid" are dead give-aways this guy's a shill. Any company that make millions of dollars is not a "little guy" or deserving of sympathy. As far as I'm concerned, none of the online DVD rental companies offer "rock solid" shipping. Does Netflix qualify for "rock solid" shipping when they send me 22 broken DVDs? When they start FexEx-ing our DVDs I'll think otherwise. When blogs begins to look like advertisements, it's time to quit reading. Is there any way to find out of someone owns stock in a company?

  2. I don't know if this guy is a shill. I don't know how to find out if someone is a Netflix stockholder. I certainly am not. I am just an enthusiastic fan pointing to other enthusiastic fans out there.

  3. No. That comment was aimed at Mike Greiner. I honestly believe you're a Netflix fan but shouldn't you consider yourself a movie fan first?
