Blockbuster slacking off

It took Blockbuster Online until today (Thursday) to check in a movie I returned on Monday. I returned it along with two others which they received on Tuesday. The two others went to bricks and mortar stores in NC, whereas the one checked in today went to the Charlotte distribution center.

  1. You make a good point.

However, I am willing to make the sacrifice for the sake of this blog :). I want to be able to speak with first-hand knowledge about the Blockbuster Online service. It's just $14.99/month, which is covered by the Google ads on this blog.

I rarely use the in-store coupons. I can't stand going to the store because it takes me over an hour to get in and out, and it requires two trips in the car.

  2. "Wouldn't it be better to just rent MORE from Netflix?"

I did that with Netflix's 8-at-a-time plan. However, I noticed I was to paying more per rental than I was with the 3-at-a-time plan. That why I subscribe to 2 other services: I get the speed of Netflix, the economy of Blockbuster, and the reliability of GreenCine.
