I probably shouldn't be telling you this, because I'm only hurting myself, but the Muppet Movie (1979) has just become available from Netflix. If you get it before I do, please handle it gently; it's in my queue :).
You'll be safe from me. I won't rent the Muppet Movie.
My personal philosophy is that if I'm going to watch a movie more than once, I should just buy it. If I haven't seen the movie, a rental is okay once, but after that, I can't rent it again, I should just fork over the cash and let the DVD player loop. I can't imagine paying per rental for each time I've watched the Matrix, or High Fidelity.
Considering I think we wore out the betamax copy of the Muppet Movie we used to have, I need to just buy this.
The jokes are still funny, and the cameos are amazing (although I believe over half of them are now dead.) Favorite puns? I've got to plane to catch! Not with that tongue.... and Jack not name, jack job!
