Netflix adds Las Vegas shipping center to the list. Here are the others:
Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, Greensboro, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Louisville, Minneapolis, New York, Newark, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, Richmond, Rochester, San Jose, Seattle, St. Louis, Tampa and Washington, DC.
The same press release says they have 20,000 titles and 2 million customers.
I get my movies from Worcester, MA. Perhaps that's the same as Boston, as far as the press release is concerned (definitely different cities though :-). Also, thought you'd be interested in this article, if you haven't seen it already:

Hey Jim,
ReplyDeleteI know Worcester! My brother lives in Fitchburg.
Thanks for the article. Amazing details in there. Considering the volume they handle, Netflix does a terrific job of satisfying customers. The handful of complaints I've found on the Web are insignificant compared to the sheer numbers of interactions each customer has with the company. I've had 95 discs from them, with about 6 problems. Well within tolerable limits, IMHO. Multiply 95 x 2 million customers!
Harrisburg Pa is also a distribution center. I work at the post office and i see tons of 171 zips every day.
