Amazon to offer video downloads soon?

Variety pulls together (subscription required) reports from a variety of movie industry sources who say they have been working with to set up online delivery of movies for an end-of-April launch, and although Amazon spokespeople refused to comment on the story, the multiple sources lend credence to the scoop, and it all makes too much sense not to be true.

  1. Why would I want to wait to download a movie so that I could wait again to get a DVD delivered? A better way is to download directly to DVD. Check out EZTakes Movie Downloads ( They already let you download to DVDs that you can burn yourself. They even let you print your own labels and case covers.
