I'm in the Seventies now

I'm going through the book of 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die watching all the movies chronologically, whenever possible. I have just finished with the Sixties, pretty much. I had to skip a few which aren't on DVD yet, but I'm hunting them down on VHS. I've seen 667 of the titles in the book. Nearly 350 of them came from Netflix.

  1. I cheated and found the whole list at:

2/3 of the way through, not bad. You should be able to knock that out this year, then get started on your own book =)

It's a pretty amazing goal, but don't you ever get tired of watching good movies and need to watch some crap to put things in perspective? It's basic ying/yang ( there can't be good without just as much bad.)

  2. That's not cheating :). The list of movies I've seen is here.

I do get tired of watching nothing but good movies, which is why I use Blockbuster Online, too. All I have to do is watch something like Stealth on occasion to remind me why the good stuff is so good.

  3. Hi. I have a netflix question for you? Netflix themselves can not answer this one. How do you make collections or lists? I see them when you look at a movies profile but I never see anywhere on the site to do this? Does anyone know? Thanks. By the way I love this blog. You are my hero. If I wasn't married already I would want to marry you. You like movies more than anyone I have ever known even myself. Keep up the good work.

  4. Thank you for loving my blog, Beano. My blog loves you too!

    Try this:

Go to Your account on Netflix,
    then
    rating activity,
    then
    # of reviews written,
    then
    Create a new list.
